Remember the saying ‘April showers bring May flowers?’
Sometimes, all we can see are the rain clouds. We forget about the sun behind them – we miss the silver linings!
As someone who lives with anxiety and depression, I know that this can be harder at some times more than others, but with support and a team behind you, you can and will get through it!
And so, I am going to be running the *FREE* Silver Linings Challenge Group!
I will provide you with journal prompts, self-care methods, share motivation, small victories, yummy recipes, and help each other with accountability. I will share information on how health and fitness affects our mental wellness, and we will also practice daily activities rooted in social support, self-care and mental health.
I also ask that you consider registering to complete the Run For It Virtual 5k benefiting the non-profit To Write Love On Her Arms as part of my team! This is an amazing organization that provides support for those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide, and every dollar we raise goes directly to them.
What is a Virtual 5k? As a virtual runner, you have the ability to choose your own course and run (or walk) a 5k in your community on April 15. All on your own or with friends!
The Silver Linings Challenge Group will run from Monday April 10 – Friday April 14!
